Men and Young Men ages 12-35 years old
If you are reading this, it is probably because you are at the end of your rope. You’ve tried to solve a personal problem, cease a damaging behavior, resolve difficult emotions, fix relationship strife, or work through your personal baggage, all to no avail. You might even be feeling hopeless that things can get better again.
This does not have to be the case. Change and healing are possible, and there is hope for a better future. It all starts with this fundamental question though: “Are you willing to take a risk, and make a change?”
How I can help
One of the greatest passions in my life is to come alongside people who are struggling in life, and to provide a safe place for them to explore, process, and provide support as they strive to overcome their struggles. And it is my goal to provide a safe place for you to come and process your thoughts and emotions, with the aid of professional counseling.
I focus on providing warmth, empathy, and unconditional acceptance, and I also use simple, fundamental counseling to help you process what is going on mentally and emotionally.
Sometimes, it can be so confusing and difficult to sort out what is going on within ourselves. Part of the service I offer is to be a mirror for you that shows you what you are thinking and feeling. I believe providing a safe and inviting atmosphere through connection, change and healing are possible.
A few of my life lessons
It is my belief that if anyone is trying to overcome an obstacle of any kind, counseling is the place for them. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in this life, it is that we were not meant to deal with our problems on our own. From being in counseling myself and from counseling others, I believe that people can often get stuck in maladaptive, repetitive cycles of thinking. But through the help of talking, processing, gaining insights, and coming up with a plan, our problems can be alleviated. There is hope, there is healing in your future; all it takes is taking that first step. So I ask you, are you ready to take the first step?
Take that first step and get started by scheduling a consultation with me today.

Some of my areas of expertise are counseling from a biblical/Christian perspective, helping develop a stronger sense of identity and self-esteem, exploring topics of meaning, value, and purpose, and providing warm, empathic support.
My areas of interest specifically are incorporating faith and Christian belief in counseling. I am in the process of becoming a DART (Developmental and Relational Trauma) Therapist.
I have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northern Kentucky University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Ohio.
